Edition 2025 — Pasta 'Ncasciada Festival

In August 2025, Novara di Sicilia renewed its appointment with the Pasta 'Ncasciada Festival during the mid-August festivities. In Piazza Stancanelli Basile, in the heart of the Peloritani village, residents and visitors were able to taste the traditional baked dish that symbolizes the Novara Ferragosto, amidst music and folk performances organized by the Associazione I Giovani del Borgo.

The 2025 edition of the Pasta 'Ncasciada Festival took place as usual in August in Novara di Sicilia (ME), as part of the mid-August celebrations. In Piazza Stancanelli Basile, visitors enjoyed a tasting of the typical baked pasta seasoned with veal and mutton ragù, crumbled meatballs, eggplant, eggs, and breadcrumbs. The evening, with free admission, was enlivened by music and folk performances curated by the Associazione I Giovani del Borgo, confirming the festival as one of the most heartfelt gastronomic events of the Novara summer.
