Edition 2025 — Pasta a Taianu

The 2025 edition of the Pasta a Taianu Festival took place on Saturday, August 9, and Sunday, August 10, 2025, in the historic center of Cefalù. Two evenings dedicated to the city's signature dish—pasta cooked in a terracotta pot with beef and lamb ragù, fried eggplant, and pecorino—accompanied by food stalls with typical Sicilian products, music, and folklore, in the charming setting of the village overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The 2025 Pasta a Taianu Festival was held on August 9 and 10, 2025, in Cefalù, in the heart of the historic center, confirming an event now deeply rooted in the Cefalù summer and organized by the Polis Kephaloidion Cultural Center.

The star was the pasta a taianu, an ancient recipe of Arab origin prepared in the typical terracotta pot with beef and lamb ragù, fried eggplant, pecorino, and spices. Alongside the tastings, the evenings offered stalls with typical products, local desserts and wines, folk music, and entertainment, among the medieval alleys and sea views of the Sicilian village during the peak tourist season.
