A series of ideas overlooking the Conero

Parlare Futuro Summer is the summer version of the cultural review that the Municipality of Numana dedicates to current affairs and in-depth analysis. Born in 2025, it brings a series of meetings with writers, journalists, philosophers, and figures from Italian public debate to Piazza del Santuario, in the heart of Numana's upper town (Province of Ancona, Marche). The idea is both simple and refined: to transform a square overlooking the Conero Riviera into a space for discussion, where one can listen to lectio-interviews and book presentations, and engage in reasoning about the present and future of our country.

The format: lectio, interviews, and books

Each evening is built around a prominent guest, interviewed live based on their latest works. These are not mere book launches: the approach is that of a close encounter, with a dialogue ranging from political current affairs to news, from philosophy to criminology, and the major themes of contemporary society. The public is invited to participate, listen, and ask questions, in a deliberately informal and accessible atmosphere.

Where and when

The setting is one of the most evocative on the Marche coast: Piazza del Santuario in Numana, nestled among the alleys of the historic centre and a short walk from the famous Arch, the town's symbol. The events are concentrated in the peak summer months, between July and August, when Numana is bustling with residents and tourists. The review is part of the Municipality's rich summer calendar, which complements these meetings with music, comedy, and other event series.
