The Parisian contemporary art fair lands in Milan
Paris Internationale is a contemporary art fair founded in Paris in 2015, known for its curatorial and focused approach, far from the model of large commercial shows. In 2026, it takes a historic step: for the first time, it will be held outside France, choosing Milan as its new home. This decision confirms the Lombard capital's role as the Italian capital of contemporary art and design.
The fair will take place at Palazzo Galbani, at Via Fabio Filzi 25, a modernist building designed between 1956 and 1959 by the Soncini brothers with structural contributions from Pier Luigi Nervi. The spaces are arranged on four non-hierarchical floors, with modular, self-supporting walls designed by the Christ & Gantenbein studio, intended for reuse in future editions.
The Milan edition brings together 34 independent international galleries, some historically linked to Paris Internationale, others new participants from across Europe. The fair's focus favors solo presentations and artist dialogues conceived as true exhibition projects, rather than traditional crowded stands. Accompanying the galleries is a public program of talks, workshops, and guided tours.
The dates, from April 18 to 21, 2026 (preview on April 17), coincide with Milan Art Week and the start of Design Week, the period when Milan (Province of Milan, Lombardy) becomes an international crossroads for collectors, curators, and enthusiasts. The direction is entrusted to Silvia Ammon, with organization by Ciaccia Levi, Crรจvecลur, and Gregor Staiger.
From April 18 to 21, 2026 (with a preview on the 17th), Paris Internationale debuts in Milan in the modernist spaces of Palazzo Galbani, at Via Fabio Filzi 25.
