Parco Olive Oil Festival

The 2025 edition

In 2025, Altofonte once again renewed its most cherished celebration, the Parco Olive Oil Festival, in Piazza Falcone e Borsellino. The event, organized by the Pro Loco with the support of the Municipality, opened in the morning and continued until the early afternoon.

Visitors were able to taste vastedde, the local focaccia topped with freshly produced extra virgin oil, and purchase oil, cheeses, and other local products at the stalls set up in the square. There were numerous guided tours of the town's mills and Norman-era monuments, while Sicilian folk music accompanied the entire day, confirming the strong bond between the Altofonte community and its olive-growing tradition.
