Italy's oldest trade fair, since 1919 in the Padua exhibition centre
The Padua Trade Fair is an institution: born in 1919, it is the first exhibition event of the twentieth century in Italy and for over a hundred years it has accompanied the spring season in Padua. It takes place in the exhibition centre of Padova Hall, along via Tommaseo, and represents for the city an event with an almost popular flavour, a large commercial showcase, and a family tradition passed down from generation to generation.
The modern edition brings together about 300 exhibiting companies, Italian and foreign, distributed in seven macro-areas: Shopping, Food&Drink, Electronics, On the Road (motors), Home Ideas (home), Family Time, and the Pet Friendly area, dedicated to companion animals with mini-ponies, alpacas, birds of prey, demonstrations, and consultations with experts. A formula that combines purchases, discoveries, and entertainment.
Open with continuous hours - until late in the evening - and with free admission without registration, the Trade Fair is attended by tens of thousands of visitors at each edition. There are two entrances: pavilion 7 on via Tommaseo and pavilion 8 at the roundabout on via Rismondo. Its proximity to the train and bus stations (just an eight-minute walk) makes it a conveniently accessible event, a symbol of the historic link between Padua and its fair.
The 2026 edition of the Padua Trade Fair is the 105th and takes place from May 9th to 17th in the Padova Hall exhibition centre. Nine days with about 300 exhibiting companies, Italian and foreign, in seven macro-areas: Shopping, Food&Drink, Electronics, On the Road, Home Ideas, Family Time, and Pet Friendly.
Among the novelties of the year is the Pet Friendly area dedicated to companion animals, with mini-ponies, alpacas, birds of prey, demonstrations, workshops, and expert consultations.
