The Padova Marathon is one of the most anticipated running events in the Veneto region. The race, organized by Assindustria Sport, starts from the Euganeo Stadium and concludes in one of the most scenic spots in Europe, Prato della Valle. Along its 42 kilometers, the course crosses the loop of the municipalities in Padua's urban belt, passing through Rubano, Selvazzano Dentro, and Teolo.
Rubano on the course
For the community of Rubano, in the province of Padua, the marathon's passage is a festive event: roads closed to traffic, crowds along the route, and thousands of runners crossing the municipal territory. The course is officially measured and certified by AIMS measurers, guaranteeing the validity of the performances.
Three races in one day
The event includes the marathon (42 km), the half marathon, and the 10Crono, offering a distance suitable for every level. Both the marathon and the half marathon converge towards the finish line at Prato della Valle, providing athletes with an unforgettable arrival.

On Sunday, April 26, 2026, starting at 8:30 AM from the Euganeo Stadium: the XXVI Padova Marathon crosses the loop of the municipalities in Padua's urban belt, including Rubano, to finish at Prato della Valle. For 2026, the course includes a small detour into Rubano territory due to new tram works. The 42 km course has been remeasured and certified by AIMS measurers.
