About Paderno Festival
A neighborhood festival in the heart of Seriate
The Paderno Festival is the most cherished event in the Paderno district of Seriate, in the province of Bergamo. Organized by the Paderno Oratory of the Parish of the Most Holy Redeemer, it takes place around the Pope John XXIII Pastoral Center on Via Po, dedicating ten days to devotion to Our Lady of Paderno and community life.
Cuisine, Pizzeria, and Evenings for Everyone
The gastronomic stand and pizzeria open every evening from 7:00 PM (except on Mondays), enlivening the church square with a family atmosphere. Evenings revolve around dancing, choral concerts, theatrical performances, and tournaments that engage all age groups: from Buraco (a card game) tournaments to volleyball, from live music to entertainment for the little ones.
Tradition and Popular Faith
The spiritual heart of the festival is the procession with the statue of Our Lady of Paderno, which winds through the neighborhood streets, gathering faithful and families. Sung Eucharistic adoration, celebrations, and prayer moments punctuate the calendar, recalling the ancient bond between the village and its sanctuary. The festival is a living example of how, in the Bergamasca region, neighborhood patronal feasts continue to unite different generations.
