Ortolana Bruschetta Festival

The 22nd edition

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 8:00 PM, the Piazzetta degli Angeli in Vitigliano hosted the twenty-second edition of the Ortolana Bruschetta Festival, with free admission. The stars of the evening were the Ortolana bruschettas prepared with fresh tomatoes, fried peppers, grilled vegetables, and local extra virgin olive oil, accompanied by other typical Salento specialties and a selection of local wines.

Music and tradition

The group I Mustisci enlivened the square, performing live with Salento pizzica and engaging folk rhythms, including tambourines and group dances under the stars. The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Santa Cesarea Terme, confirmed the hamlet's strong bond with its agricultural roots and the tradition of the village festival.
