Edition 2025 — Diso Orecchiette Festival

The 2025 edition of the Orecchiette and Salento-Style Maccheroni Festival took place in Diso on August 25 and 26, starting at 8:00 PM, in the historic center of the town. Two evenings with free admission dedicated to traditional Salento handmade fresh pasta, featuring tastings of orecchiette and maccheroni with sauce, local products, and folk music, in the warm atmosphere of a Lower Salento village feast.

Orecchiette and Salento-Style Maccheroni Festival 2025

On August 25 and 26, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM, the historic center of Diso hosted the Orecchiette and Salento-Style Maccheroni Festival, a summer event that attracts residents and visitors every year to the small town in the Province of Lecce.

Over the two evenings, with free admission, the food stalls offered handmade orecchiette and Salento-style maccheroni, served with traditional tomato sauce and cacioricotta, along with other local specialties and regional wines. Amidst the alleys and squares of the village, the event combined dining with Salento folk music, in a celebration that honors homemade fresh pasta as a symbol of Lower Salento's gastronomic identity.
