Operaestate Festival Veneto – Borso del Grappa

A large, widespread festival in the Venetian foothills

Operaestate Festival Veneto is one of the most important summer reviews in the Veneto region. Founded in Bassano del Grappa, the festival spans over two months in theatres, landscapes, and art venues in the foothills, with a multidisciplinary program of dance, theatre, music, and contemporary circus involving over 680 artists from about fifteen countries.

Borso del Grappa and Terre Graffiate

Among the locations touched by the festival is Borso del Grappa (province of Treviso), the gateway to the Grappa massif. Here, the Terre Graffiate section comes to life, bringing music to the sites of the Great War and the UNESCO MAB Biosphere Reserve of Monte Grappa. The concerts, often held outdoors and at particular times such as dawn or morning, establish an intense dialogue between music, historical memory, and the landscape.
