About OlìVolà

OlìVolà is the festival celebrating extra virgin olive oil and typical products of the Berici Hills, held in the municipality of Barbarano Mossano (Vicenza). Between Barbarano and Mossano, connected by a pedestrian path, there will be a market exhibition of agricultural and artisanal products, tastings, open oil mills, guided walks through hills and olive groves, visits to historic villas, archaeological sites and the suggestive Mossano Prisons. A spring Sunday dedicated to taste, culture and the Berici landscape.

The festival of Berici Hills olive oil

OlìVolà is the Festival of the Berici Hills Olives, which enlivens the municipality of Barbarano Mossano, in the province of Vicenza, every spring. The event promotes extra virgin olive oil and typical local products through tastings, a market exhibition, and numerous cultural initiatives, connecting the two centres of Barbarano and Mossano, linked by a fully pedestrian path.

Between flavours and market

The heart of the festival is the market of agricultural and artisanal products, alongside food stands, lunches organised by local Pro Loco associations, traditional fritters, and tastings along the entire route. Open oil mills allow visitors to discover the Berici oil production chain up close.

Nature, culture and archaeology

OlìVolà is not just about taste: the programme includes guided walks through hills and olive groves, outdoor experiences like open-air pilates, and guided tours of historic villas, archaeological sites, and the famous Mossano Prisons, ancient rock-hewn cavities. Entertainment, live music, and workshops for families complete the day.

A local event

Promoted with the support of the Vicenza Pro Loco associations, Coldiretti, and the Municipality of Barbarano Mossano, OlìVolà has become in just a few editions a key event for the spring season in the Berici Hills, successfully combining food and wine, slow tourism, and local identity.
