Edition 2025 — Oliva Dolce Festival
The 2025 edition of the Oliva Dolce Festival, the 49th in its history, took place in Costa a Matraia, a hamlet of the Municipality of Capannori, from July 4 to July 20, 2025, spanning three weekends from Friday to Sunday.
As per tradition, the food stalls opened every evening with table service from 7:15 PM, offering the signature dishes of Lucca cuisine: zuppa alla frantoiana, farro, grilled meat, wild boar stew, and torte co' becchi. The event, organized by the Oliva Dolce Festival Association with the Fratres Matraia Blood Donors Group, confirmed its role as a beloved summer event for the Lucca Plain community.
