Olio Folk Fest

The 2025 edition of the Olio Folk Fest took place from October 10 to 12 in Caltabellotta, with the inauguration held on Friday, October 10, at 6:00 PM in Piazza Umberto I. Titled the "Longevity Edition," it focused on the connection between Biancolilla extra virgin olive oil, the Mediterranean diet, and the longevity of the village, which is officially recognized as one of the world's Blue Zones.

The program offered guided tastings of new-harvest oil paired with local bread, an intergenerational cooking show featuring grandparents and grandchildren, discussions on the Mediterranean diet, and the "Faces of Longevity" photography exhibition dedicated to the town's elders. Highlights included a performance by the "Città di Caltabellotta" Band of the Santa Cecilia Musical Association. During the event, organized by the Triokala association with the Municipality of Caltabellotta, the "Visit Caltabellotta" brand was presented, and the village was awarded the "City of Oil" banner.
