About Oggiono Carnival
A 59-Year Tradition
The Oggiono Carnival, in Oggiono in the province of Lecco, is one of the most deeply rooted carnival events in the Lecco Brianza region. Now in its 59th edition, it is organised by the Pro Loco of Oggiono and attracts thousands of people each year for its grand parade of floats.
The Parade Through the Centre
The heart of the festival is the procession that winds through the town centre: floats, costumed groups, music, and confetti parade along a route that covers the main squares and streets of Oggiono, from Viale Vittoria to Piazza Sironi, Via Marco d'Oggiono, Piazza Manzoni, and beyond. A celebration of colour designed to involve children and families in particular.
Traditional Refreshments
There is also a gastronomic dimension: at the Fiera Sant'Andrea area, the same space that hosts the historic Fierone in autumn, refreshments offer traditional Lombard dishes, from tripe to cassoeula, from pizzoccheri to casoncelli, including the inevitable carnival fritters. It's a way to combine the masked festival with the flavours of the region, in the heart of a town overlooking the Brianza lakes.
Oggiono Carnival — edition 2026
On Sunday, February 15, 2026, Oggiono celebrates the 59th edition of the Oggiono Carnival. The parade of floats and costumed groups kicks off at 2:00 PM from Viale Vittoria, winding through the main streets and squares of the town.
Throughout the day, at the Fiera Sant'Andrea area, refreshments will offer traditional dishes: tripe, cassoeula, pizzoccheri, lasagna with ragù, casoncelli, and baked fritters. Takeaway is available upon reservation. In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled.

- Refreshments at the Fiera Sant'Andrea area with tripe, cassoeula, pizzoccheri, lasagna with ragù, casoncelli, and baked fritters (also available for takeaway upon reservation)
