About Novegro Model Contest
The Modelers' Challenge
The Novegro Model Contest is the competition dedicated to static modeling held at the Novegro Exhibition Park, in the Municipality of Segrate, in the Province of Milan. In Pavilion D, modelers from all over Italy showcase their creations and compete for prizes in various categories.
Categories in Competition
The competition welcomes all aspects of static modeling:
- Aircraft and military vehicles;
- Figures and dioramas;
- Naval modeling;
- Fantasy and sci-fi creations;
- Junior category for the youngest.
Not Just a Competition
In addition to the competition, the Novegro Model Contest offers workshops and technical demonstrations—from aging techniques (chipping) to panel line detailing—allowing enthusiasts to learn the secrets of the trade. Specialized exhibitors in various modeling disciplines are also present.
For Enthusiasts
Organized in collaboration with modeling groups and associations, the contest is a meeting point for modelers from Lombardy and all of Italy, where they can admire high-level work and interact with masters of miniature.
Novegro Model Contest — edition 2026
The 5th edition of the Novegro Model Contest will be held on Saturday, January 17, and Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Novegro Exhibition Park in Segrate, Pavilion D, open from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The static modeling competition is organized in collaboration with IPMS Legnano, Crazy Modelers, and other modeling groups, and features models competing in numerous categories.

Workshops and Demonstrations
- Workshops on chipping and panel lining techniques (e.g., on Gundam models);

Registration: €15 online, €20 on-site. Model drop-off from Friday, January 16 (2:30 PM - 6:00 PM). Public opening hours Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
