Shops open, music and street artists in the center of Bergamo
Among Bergamo's four summer White Nights, the Shopping Night is dedicated to commerce and evening entertainment. Scheduled for July 4, 2026, from 5 PM to 10 PM, it concludes the series of city White Nights, enlivening the center streets with shops open late, music, and shows.
For one evening, the center of Bergamo transforms into a large open-air stage: marching bands, street artists, and shows entertain the public between window shopping. The festive atmosphere invites strolling, shopping, and enjoying performances in the city's squares and commercial streets.
One of the most beloved attractions is the Vintage Funfair that arrives in Piazza Matteotti, with retro rides and attractions that delight both adults and children. A nostalgic touch that adds magic to the evening and completes the entertainment offering.
The Shopping Night is promoted by the Urban Commerce District and the Bergamo Vive association, in support of city commerce. The event, free and open to all, enhances the commercial fabric of the Orobic capital, in the heart of Lombardy, combining shopping, music, and fun during one of the last evenings of the city's White Nights summer. It's the ideal opportunity to shop in a different atmosphere than usual, taking advantage of the late openings, and to enjoy the shows that liven up the streets and squares of the center until late evening, in the company of family and friends.
The 2026 Shopping Night takes place on July 4, from 5 PM to 10 PM, in the streets of Bergamo's center. It is the last of the four summer White Nights promoted and coordinated by the Municipal Administration.
Promoted by the Urban Commerce District and the Bergamo Vive association, it features shops open late, music, street artists, and a Vintage Funfair in Piazza Matteotti.
The event is promoted by the Urban Commerce District and Bergamo Vive. The full program is published on the Bergamo Municipality website.
The event takes place in the streets of downtown Bergamo Bassa and in Piazza Matteotti, a few minutes' walk from the train station. Pedestrian areas and traffic closures are planned.
The event is free and open to all, from 5 PM to 10 PM.
Bring the children to the Vintage Funfair in Piazza Matteotti: the retro rides are one of the evening's most beloved attractions.
