Schlanders New Year's Concert — edition 2026
The 2026 New Year's Concert at the Kulturhaus Karl Schönherr in Silandro/Schlanders took place on January 4, 2026. The star of the show was the Orchestra Bartolomeo Bruni APS from Cuneo, a symphonic ensemble founded in 1953 and named after the violinist and composer Antonio Bartolomeo Bruni, conducted by Maestro Mario Lamberto.
Three soloists performed alongside the orchestra: soprano Linda Campanella, tenor Alessandro Fantoni, and baritone Askar Lashkin. The program ranged from the great operatic repertoire to lively Viennese dance music: the prelude from Bizet's Carmen, arias and duets from Mozart's Don Giovanni and Verdi's La Traviata, famous pieces such as La donna è mobile, Nessun dorma, and the festive Brindisi, alongside waltzes and polkas by Johann Strauss II, such as The Blue Danube.
