Edition 2025 — Oil and Novello Wine
From November 7-9 and 14-16, 2025, Vignanello celebrated the 25th edition of the New Oil and Novello Wine Festival, organized by the Pro Loco with the Compagnia del Novello. The first weekend opened on Friday with a commemorative walk dedicated to Benedict XIII, an organ concert, and the opening of the taverns; Saturday featured jugglers, flag-wavers, guided tastings, and the re-enactment of the Countess of Julianello, while Sunday saw the inaugural ceremony with the Julianellum 1536 Historical Pageant parading before thousands of visitors.
The second weekend offered conferences on the agri-food sector of Tuscia, the re-enactment of the Revolt of 1553, and new free evening concerts. The guest of honor was the delegation from Militello in Val di Catania, winner of the "Borgo dei Borghi 2025" competition, in which Vignanello placed third. A record-breaking edition that confirmed the festival as a benchmark for food and wine tourism in the Lazio region.

Friday, November 7: 3:00 PM camper reception and tours of Castello Ruspoli; 4:00 PM commemorative walk dedicated to Benedict XIII; 5:00 PM book presentation "Il romanzo di una Chiesa"; 6:00 PM conference and organ concert by Dario Paolini; 8:00 PM opening of taverns; 9:00 PM roasted chestnuts and wine in the square; 10:00 PM Vincenzo Bencini in concert.
Saturday, November 8: 10:00 AM craft market and taste trails; 11:00 AM juggling shows; 4:30 PM flag-wavers and guided tasting "Learning about Oil"; 6:00 PM historical re-enactment of the Countess of Julianello; 7:00 PM tasting "Learning about Wine"; 9:30 PM Leonardo Angelucci live; 11:00 PM DJ set with Matteo Petretti.
Sunday, November 9: 9:30 AM 4 km trek; 11:30 AM inaugural ceremony with the Julianellum 1536 Historical Pageant; guided oil (4:30 PM) and wine (12:00 PM) tastings; 5:30 PM performance by the Spadaccini di Soriano.
Second weekend
Friday, November 14: 5:30 PM conference; 8:00 PM taverns; 10:00 PM Lorenzo Postiglione in concert.
Saturday, November 15: 10:00 AM conferences on the agri-food sector of Tuscia; 4:30 PM oil tasting; 6:00 PM re-enactment of the Revolt of 1553; 10:00 PM I Secondo Palo live.
Sunday, November 16: 11:45 AM Historical Pageant parade; guided tastings and roaming shows throughout the day.
