The Vespa Takes Center Stage in Riccia
The National Rally of the Vespa Club Riccia draws "Vespa riders" from all over Italy to the village in the province of Campobasso for two days dedicated to the passion for the scooter that symbolizes Italian design and culture. The event, organized by the Vespa Club Riccia, combines sporting and tourist aspects with the discovery of the Molise region, in an atmosphere of celebration and friendship.
Between Historic Center and Hills
The program alternates moments of gathering in the central Piazza Umberto I with a guided tour of the historic center of Riccia, culminating in a panoramic tour aboard Vespas that crosses the neighboring towns — Jelsi, Gildone, and Cercemaggiore — along a route of about fifty kilometers through the hills of Fortore and Sannio Molisano. There are also convivial lunches, awards, and musical moments with DJ sets.
A Rally with a Heart
The rally is held in memory of Alfonsino Moffa, combining the passion for motorcycling with a moment of reflection, including the blessing of the Vespas on the morning of the second day. For visitors and enthusiasts, it is also an opportunity to get to know Riccia and the Molise hinterland, with its hilly landscapes and genuine hospitality.
Riccia Vespa Rally — edition 2026
The 3rd National Rally of the Vespa Club Riccia is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, based in Piazza Umberto I. Two days of Vespa, visits, and conviviality between the historic center of Riccia and the Molise hills, in memory of Alfonsino Moffa. Registrations are open from April 17 to May 17, 2026.

Saturday, May 23, 2026
- 3:00 PM–6:00 PM — Registrations in Piazza Umberto I (fee €15, dinner included)
- 6:00 PM — Guided tour of the historic center of Riccia
- 7:30 PM — Dinner at the "MO.DO." Sports Center
Sunday, May 24, 2026
- 7:00 AM–10:00 AM — Registrations and breakfast in Piazza Umberto I
- 9:45 AM — Blessing of the Vespas and Alfonsino Moffa memorial
- 10:30 AM — Panoramic tour of about 50 km through Riccia, Jelsi, and Gildone, with a welcome aperitif in Cercemaggiore
- 1:30 PM — Return to Riccia and convivial lunch at the Sports Center
- Afternoon/evening — Music, dancing, awards, and DJ set
