A little Bavaria in Molise
For about ten years, Petrella Tifernina, an inland village in the province of Campobasso, has transformed in autumn into "a little Munich" thanks to the Oktoberfest alla Petrellese, organized by the local Pro Loco (local tourism board) together with the Municipality.
Beer, gastronomy, and music
The event recreates the atmosphere of the famous Bavarian festival: rivers of beer, German gastronomic specialties alongside local Molise flavors, live music, and a festive atmosphere that lasts for several days. The event takes place in the equipped area of the municipal sports field, capable of hosting a large audience.
An established event
Now in its tenth edition in 2025, the Oktoberfest alla Petrellese has established itself as one of the most anticipated autumn events on the Molise calendar, often combined with the traditional October Fair of the town. It has become a driver for promoting the village and its products, successfully blending conviviality, taste, and fun.
Oktoberfest alla Petrellese — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Oktoberfest alla Petrellese will once again offer the successful formula, honed over more than ten years of history, in Petrella Tifernina: rivers of beer, Bavarian and Molise cuisine, live music, and fun in the equipped area of the municipal sports field. The precise date, usually around mid-October, will be announced by the Pro Loco in the weeks prior.
Programme Oktoberfest alla Petrellese 2026
The program and dates for the 2026 edition will be communicated by the Pro Loco of Petrella Tifernina. Usual structure of the event:
- Opening of the food stalls with Bavarian and Molise specialties and beer tapping
- Live music and Oktoberfest-style entertainment
- Several days of festivities, often combined with the traditional October Fair of the town
