The widespread music of Municipality 4

The Music Festival at Formentano Park is one of the most beloved events in the Peace&Sport program of Municipality 4 in Milan. It takes place in Parco Vittorio Formentano (in Largo Marinai d'Italia), the green lung of the Porta Romana district, transforming the park into a large, widespread stage for a day.

Over twenty entities on stage

The heart of the event is the participation of the local community: more than 20 entities, including associations, schools, and singer-songwriters, perform live. Bands, solo artists, orchestras, and marching bands take turns on stage in a program that spans all musical genres — from pop to rock, from rap to singer-songwriter music. It's a way to give a voice to the many musical souls of the neighborhood and the city.

Not just concerts

Alongside the music, the festival offers workshops at the stands and a street food area with hamburgers, crepes, friselle, and craft beer. The atmosphere is that of a community day, with entertainment designed for both adults and children.

A project for peace

The initiative is part of the Peace&Sport 2026 program, promoted by Municipality 4 in collaboration with the association OUTSIDE, which enlivens the area throughout the year with cultural, artistic, and sports events for all ages. The Music Festival, now in its third edition, is one of its flagship events in Milan (Province of Milan, Lombardy).
