Muri Sicuri is a charitable project born after the 2016 earthquake that struck Central Italy: a group of Roman tour guides decided to fund street art works in the capital and offer charity-based guided tours, donating the proceeds to the reconstruction of the earthquake-stricken areas. Over the years, Torpignattara has become a symbolic location for this endeavor, dotted with murals by artists such as Diavù, Solo, Alice Pasquini, and many others. Today, the festival carries on this legacy, returning it to the neighborhood in the form of a widespread, participatory event.
