About Mulino Walk

The Marcia del Mulino is the free-pace walk that for over forty years has drawn hundreds of enthusiasts to Brugherio. Organized by GSA Brugherio together with the Amici della Festa di Occhiate, it offers three routes on paved roads and country trails, suitable for families, walkers, and runners. A morning of sport, nature, and community with a charitable heart: part of the proceeds supports the Run for Emma & friends association, which works with children affected by spinal muscular atrophy.

A tradition that has been walking for over 40 years

The Mulino Walk is one of the most established non-competitive walks in Brugherio, in the province of Monza and Brianza. A free-pace event open to all, it attracts over five hundred participants each year, including families, Sunday walkers, and more seasoned runners.

Three routes through asphalt and countryside

The event features three routes of 8, 14, and 21 kilometers, which wind through the city streets and stretches of the Brianza countryside. Along the route, there are refreshment and control points, increasing in number based on the chosen distance. The meeting and start point is the municipal Festa Area in Via San Giovanni Bosco, which also serves as the finish line.

Sport and solidarity

Organized by GSA Brugherio together with the Amici della Festa di Occhiate, the Mulino Walk combines the passion for walking with a strong solidarity dimension: a portion of the fee for each participant is donated to the Run for Emma & friends association, which supports children with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).

Walking for the territory

With its routes alternating between city streets and the trails of the Brianza countryside, the Mulino Walk is also a way to rediscover the territory of Brugherio and its surroundings, in the province of Monza and Brianza. The event is part of the FIASP circuit of walks, with refreshment and control points along the route, but it remains open to anyone who wishes to participate at their own pace, without any competitive intent. The organization, entrusted to GSA Brugherio and Amici della Festa di Occhiate, confirms the synergy between the various local associations, which together keep alive a sporting and solidarity tradition that is now over forty years old.
