On August 22-23, 2025, Gioia del Colle (BA) celebrated its Mozzarella di Gioia del Colle PDO with the Gioia Festival - Mozzarella Festival, promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with the Milkyway association and supported by the Puglia Region. The two evenings brought Piazza Umberto I and Piazza Luca D'Andrano to life.

Friday, August 22, opened with a seminar on the future of the dairy supply chain, focusing on innovation and sustainability, followed by cheese-stretching demonstrations, a concert by Maestro Mario Rosini (with Paolo Romano, Mimmo Campanale, and Gianfranco Menzella), and the comedy show Senza filtri by the duo Arteteca. Saturday, August 23, was dedicated to dairy tastings and concluded with the Nostalgia 90 show, featuring 90s dance music and special effects. Participating dairies included Gioiella Latticini, Caseificio Milano, Caseificio Nettis, La Golosa di Puglia, Masseria Corvello, and Vivolat.
