Ten days of celebration at the oratory, with food, music, and tournaments at the end of summer
As summer draws to a close, Mozzanica—a municipality in the lower plains of the Province of Bergamo, bordering the Crema region—celebrates its most anticipated community event: the Oratory Festival. Organized by the San Luigi and Sant'Agnese Oratory of the Santo Stefano Parish, the event lasts for about ten days between the end of August and the beginning of September, animating the town with a packed schedule of activities.
The program alternates evenings of live music—from country to tribute bands dedicated to great Italian artists—with dance performances, musicals staged by the oratory's children and youth, family nights with pizza and magic shows, and moments of reflection and testimony with guests. Among the most popular events is the human foosball tournament, organized by the Milan Club Mozzanica, which draws teams and fans to the oratory's field.
The convivial heart of the event is the food stand, where traditional dishes are served on various evenings: from porchetta with polenta to fried items with cured meats. Advance booking is required for some dinners. The festival opens and closes with the celebration of Mass, underscoring the event's dual religious and popular nature.
In a village like Mozzanica in the Bassa bergamasca region, the Oratory Festival is more than just a series of evenings; it's a time when the entire community—children, youth, families, and the elderly—comes together around the oratory, the hub of the town's social life.
The 2026 edition of the Mozzanica Oratory Festival renews the end-of-summer tradition. For about ten days, the oratory offers evenings of live music, dance performances, youth musicals, tournaments like human foosball, and a food stand with festival dishes. The detailed program, with dates and guests, will be released by the parish and the oratory in the weeks prior.
The program follows the established structure of recent editions, spanning about ten evenings:
Final dates and program confirmed by the oratory.
