The season opening motorcycle rally with the blessing of the bikes
The Motobenedizione is the motorcycle rally with which the Moto Club Saronno officially kicks off the two-wheel season. It's an event that intertwines the passion for motorcycles with religious tradition, in a rite that marks the beginning of the motorcycle spring in many Italian cities: the blessing of the vehicles and their riders, as a wish for safe journeys.
The day includes the gathering of motorcyclists, followed by Holy Mass in the Parish Church of Saints Peter and Paul, in the heart of Saronno. At the end of the celebration, in front of the church, the parish priest blesses the motorcyclists and their bikes for the season opening. It's the most symbolic and anticipated moment of the rally, attracting enthusiasts and curious onlookers.
After the blessing, participants set off on a city tour that crosses Saronno to the Moto Club's headquarters, where the day continues with conviviality among enthusiasts. The rally is an opportunity to meet, share the passion for motorcycles, and inaugurate the new season together.
