The Patron Saints of Garbagnate Milanese

The patron saints of Garbagnate Milanese, in the metropolitan area of Milan, are Saints Eusebius and Maccabees, whose liturgical feast day is August 4th. However, the civil celebration takes place in September, when for three days the city transforms into a large social space with dozens of events spread across numerous locations.

The Palio dei Rioni

The heart of the festival is the Palio dei Rioni, a competition that pits the city's districts against each other: Garbagnate Centro, Santa Maria Rossa, Quadrifoglio, and Bariana. Bocce tournaments, foosball, table tennis, card games, treasure hunts, and traditional games engage the residents of Garbagnate in a challenge that fosters a sense of belonging.
