A festival in the hills of Collalto

The Sagra di Sant'Anna takes place in Collalto, a hillside hamlet in the municipality of Susegana, in the heart of the Alta Marca Trevigiana (province of Treviso). For a few days at the end of July, the Mercatelli-Sant'Anna area becomes the centre of village life, centred around the small church dedicated to Sant'Anna.

Faith and tradition

The religious heart of the festival is the Solemn Holy Mass in honour of Sant'Anna, which draws residents from the hamlets and many who have roots in Collalto. The festival intertwines devotional moments with convivial ones, following the best tradition of Venetian village festivals.

A walk through history

One of the most beloved events is the guided walk to discover the Roman bridges and the ancient imperial roads, with a visit to the church of Sant'Anna and readings by the SeDiciParole group, in collaboration with ArcheoSusegana. An itinerary through ancient history, legends of the woods and the waters of the Piave that tells the identity of this corner of the hills.

At the table

The food stand offers the specialities of the village festival — grilled food, traditional dishes, and wines from the Collalto hills — with takeaway service also available. Children's games, stalls, and music complete a festival that has marked the summer of this Treviso village for generations.
