Rovarè's Summer Festival
The Festeggiamenti di San Lorenzo (Saint Lawrence Celebrations) are the summer festival of Rovarè, a hamlet in the municipality of San Biagio di Callalta, in the province of Treviso. Organized by the Ente Fiera Festeggiamenti Rovarè (Rovarè Festival Organizing Body), they liven up the hamlet for about two weeks around Ferragosto (mid-August), in honour of Saint Lawrence.
Boneless Chicken and Gnocchi alla San Lorenzo
The food stand is famous for two specialties that have become symbols of the festival: boneless chicken and gnocchi alla San Lorenzo, served every evening alongside other traditional Venetian dishes. There are also a fish festival and a dessert festival.
