The festival of the Christ the Resurrected community
The Mortise Festival is the parish festival of the Christ the Resurrected community, in the Mortise district, the northern part of Padua. For several evenings, the parish spaces in via Cardano become the neighborhood's meeting point, with a program combining gastronomy, music, and shows.
Fried fish and specialties
The heart of the festival is the food stand, open every evening from 7 PM, featuring fried fish as a specialty each night. Alongside the food, the festival offers a bar area, a book exhibition, and a charity raffle, as well as an area managed by the community's youth.
Shows and culture for all ages
The program includes gymnastics performances, musical groups, choirs, orchestras, and theatrical performances by the local company, in a festive atmosphere that involves families, young people, and the elderly. It is one of the events that animate the spring in the neighborhoods of Padua, in Veneto.
Mortise Festival — edition 2026
The Mortise Festival 2026 takes place over six evenings — May 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31 — in the spaces of the Christ the Resurrected parish at via Cardano 12, in Padua. The food stand is open every evening from 7:00 PM, with fried fish among the specialties.
Alongside the food, the program offers a book exhibition, a charity raffle, and the "Tab-tronato" bar area managed by the community's youth. The evenings begin on Friday, May 22, with artistic and rhythmic gymnastics performances, and continue with music, choirs, orchestras, and theater.
