The May 1st walk in the village of Morrovalle
Morrovagando is the May 1st event in Morrovalle, in the heart of the province of Macerata, in the Marche region. Organized by Pro Loco Morrovalle, it is a day designed to experience the village slowly, on foot: a free walk through the alleys of the historic center, enriched by music, good food, shows, and fun for the whole family.
The common thread of the event is the walk. From the meeting point in Piazzale Matteotti, both the free route, marked along the village streets and punctuated by refreshment points and relaxation areas, and the guided walks led by local guides, who reveal anecdotes and hidden corners of the village, depart. It is an informal and convivial way to learn about the history and architecture of one of the most characteristic hilltop towns in the Macerata area.
Throughout the day, the village transforms into a widespread stage: street artists, circus performances, magic, and entertainment alternate in the corners of the historic center. There are also wooden games for children, guided tours of the city's heritage, and moments dedicated to conviviality, in a true village spirit.
At midday, it's time for the picnic, to be enjoyed outdoors in the village streets. The celebration concludes in the evening with free pasta offered by the Pro Loco to all registered participants of the walks and picnic, a ritual that has strengthened the sense of community in Morrovalle for years.
Morrovagando combines the experience of walking with cultural discovery of the territory and the genuine atmosphere of Marche village festivals. It is a free event suitable for all ages, ideal for those who want to spend May 1st outdoors, away from the crowds, immersed in the beauty of Morrovalle's historic center.
In 2026 too, Morrovagando animated May 1st in Morrovalle (MC), with the usual Pro Loco formula: walks through the alleys of the historic center, refreshment points, shows, and convivial moments for the whole family. The meeting was at Piazzale Matteotti, from which the free route and guided walks to discover the village departed.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition follows the established structure of the event, with meeting and registration from 9:00 AM at Piazzale Matteotti, guided walks in the village, picnic at noon, shows and entertainment for children during the day, and free pasta for registered participants in the evening. Timely updates are published by Pro Loco Morrovalle on their social media channels.
