The comic and pop culture festival at Opiquad Arena
MonzaCon Winter Edition is the major comic and pop culture festival that kicks off the year in Monza, the capital of Brianza. The venue is the Opiquad Arena, which for two days transforms into a meeting point for enthusiasts, families, students, and the curious, with over a hundred exhibitors and artists bringing the event to life.
The exhibition area features comics, manga, anime, models, action figures, board games, miniatures, collectible cards, and gadgets of all kinds. There are also live artists and illustrators, cosplayers animating the corridors, and an area dedicated to Lego with spectacular dioramas created by Italian master builders. Education plays a central role, thanks to the collaboration with the Milan Comic School and the WOW Comic Museum, which offer workshops and contests.
MonzaCon is designed for a wide audience, with a particular focus on the quality of content and inclusivity. Completing the experience is a food area with Asian street food – authentic ramen and Japanese dishes – alongside local and international flavors. With talks, exhibitions, and activities, the Winter Edition confirms MonzaCon as one of the most recognizable cultural events in the Brianza and Lombardy region dedicated to comics, illustration, and pop culture.
