The vintage car and motorcycle parade in period attire in the heart of Corato
Moda al Volante is the event that in Corato, in the Metropolitan City of Bari, blends two seemingly distant passions: automotive collecting and the history of fashion. It is not just a static gathering of vintage vehicles, but a truly immersive journey into the past, where each crew faithfully embodies the spirit, class, and style of their car.
The most anticipated feature of the initiative is its thematic focus: the owners of historic cars and motorcycles do not just display their precious vehicles, but parade while wearing outfits perfectly coordinated with the vehicle's manufacturing era. You can travel from the roaring 20s to the colorful and revolutionary 70s, 80s, and 90s, in a kaleidoscope of timeless elegance that accompanies bodywork, chrome, and design lines from another era.
For an entire day, the streets of Corato turn into an open-air museum, where the history of two- and four-wheeled design comes to life before the eyes of residents and curious onlookers. The gathering combines the static display of vehicles with a dynamic parade along the streets of the center, with stops dedicated to presenting the vehicles and their costumed crews.
The event is organized by the Pro Loco "Quadratum" APS, chaired by Gerardo Strippoli, with the patronage of the Municipality of Corato and the collaboration of EpocaR Garage. The stated goal is to confirm and consolidate Corato as a regional point of reference for cultural and automotive tourism linked to the vintage world, in a territory, the Apulian one, increasingly attentive to the enhancement of its traditions and heritage.
Born from the passion of local enthusiasts and collectors, the event has reached the milestone of ten editions, growing year by year in the number of participants and visitors. To better accommodate the increasing number of crews and vehicles, the 2026 edition inaugurates a new setting for the start and the initial gathering, in Via Aldo Maldera.
Admission is free and open to all interested parties, as is participation with your own vintage vehicle: anyone who owns a historic car or motorcycle can register for free by filling out the form available on the Pro Loco website. An appointment that combines nostalgia, spectacle, and conviviality, perfect for motor enthusiasts but also for families and those who love to breathe the elegant and slightly cinematic atmosphere of another era.

The format that made the event famous was confirmed: vintage cars and motorcycles on display and in a parade, with owners in outfits coordinated with the vehicle's manufacturing era, from the roaring 20s to the 90s.
The big news was the new setting for the start and the initial gathering, moved to Via Aldo Maldera to accommodate a constantly increasing number of participants, before the parade through the historic center towards Piazza Vittorio Emanuele.
The 2026 edition took place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, according to the consolidated format of the event.
