A city entirely in comics, in the Feltrinelli Bookstores of Milan
Milan Comics Week is the comic festival that brings talking speech bubbles and author's pencils to the heart of Milan (Municipality of Milan, Lombardy). The second edition, titled A city entirely in comics, takes place from May 21 to 24, 2026, curated by Librerie Feltrinelli with the artistic direction of Tito Faraci.
The event is spread out: 30 events held in nine Feltrinelli Bookstores in Milan (Piazza Piemonte, Corso Buenos Aires, Principe Eugenio, Piazza Duomo, Corso Genova, Viale Sabotino, Piazza Gae Aulenti, and Viale Pasubio). The format transforms bookstores into small stages, bringing the public closer to authors and characters.
Readers can meet 60 comic artists and entertainment personalities: among the featured guests are Milo Manara, Leo Ortolani, Silvia Ziche, Davide Toffolo, Mogiko, Giorgio Vanni, and Bruno Barbieri, alongside Stefano Bartezzaghi, LRNZ, Paolo Bacilieri, Sergio Gerasi, Giancarlo Berardi, and Michele Masiero.
The program ranges from manga (with events related to One Piece and Dragon Ball) to humorous comics. Among the events, a meeting dedicated to Diabolik with Bruno Barbieri and Tito Faraci, a talk on LGBTQIA+ narratives in manga, activities on Pokémon and Mickey Mouse, and a celebration for the 40th anniversary of Dylan Dog. Most events are free to enter.
