Blues returns to Milan
The Milan Blues Festival brings three days dedicated to blues to Parco Chiesa Rossa, in the south of Milan (Municipality of Milan, Lombardy), from June 19 to 21, 2026. Promoted by Barley Arts as part of the Comfort Festival, the event offers free admission and combines concerts with meetings, workshops, and a photographic exhibition dedicated to blues in Milan, curated by Corrado Gambi for Slow Music.
Three evenings of live music
The festival features guitarists, bands, and marching bands, with a crescendo culminating on Sunday with the Festa della Musica. Among the performers are the historic Treves Blues Band, Paolo Bonfanti, Gnola and the Goosebumps Bros, Dr. Albert & The BlueStorm, and the marching band Bandakadabra.
Not just concerts
Alongside the stage, Parco Chiesa Rossa hosts a food and refreshment area with the BBQ Festival by STREEAT Food Truck Festival, the workshop Red Church Library Blues, and a photographic exhibition on Milanese blues. A format designed for a full day at the park, combining music, food, and culture, in an area of the city that thus regains a major summer event.
Milan Blues Festival — edition 2026
The Milan Blues Festival 2026 takes place from June 19 to 21 at Parco Chiesa Rossa. Three days of free admission blues, with live concerts, the Red Church Library Blues workshop, a photographic exhibition dedicated to Milanese blues (curated by Corrado Gambi for Slow Music), and a refreshment area with the STREEAT Food Truck Festival's BBQ Festival. The closing, on Sunday, June 21, coincides with the Festa della Musica and includes a final collective jam session.
