Mediterraria Expo – Food and Wine Exhibition

The 2025 edition of Mediterraria Expo represented a special appointment, coinciding with the recognition of Sicily as the European Region of Gastronomy 2025. At the Le Ciminiere exhibition center in Catania, the salon showcased the island's agri-food supply chain: Sicilian wines, extra virgin olive oil, organic production, preserves, cheeses, cured meats, bread, and Mediterranean specialties.

The program alternated show cooking with local chefs, tasting masterclasses, conferences on sustainability and agri-food quality, as well as B2B meeting moments between producers and buyers. The event confirmed the role of Catania and the Sicilian Region as a benchmark for Mediterranean food and wine culture.
