The Dresano Village Festival

The Village Festival is the most anticipated autumn event in Dresano, a small municipality in South Milan in the province of Milan, on the border with the Lodi area. Every year, on the first weekend of October, the town center transforms into a large festive space that involves the entire community and attracts visitors from surrounding municipalities.

Three days, three souls

The festival unfolds over three days, each with its own character. Friday is dedicated to the younger generation, with music and entertainment. Saturday is the evening for dinner with live music, in a convivial atmosphere that puts good food at the center. Sunday is the heart of the event: from the early morning hours, the village fills with stalls, the Dresano Vintage Park vintage market, street food offerings, and local crafts.

A community celebration

Organized by the Municipality of Dresano in collaboration with the Parish of San Giorgio Martire — the village patron saint — the festival is designed to bring residents together and welcome those from outside. It is the celebration that closes the summer and opens the autumn, an opportunity to rediscover the village dimension of a small Lombardy community that remains proud of its traditions.

Between Milan and Lodi
