Solidarity That Becomes Music

Medical Buskers is the charity festival organized by the Associazione Medici per Strada (Doctors for the Street Association) that transforms the historic center of Verona into a large, widespread stage. The protagonists are about one hundred musical groups, many of which are composed of doctors and healthcare professionals, who for a weekend set aside their white coats to perform as buskers, street musicians, in the squares and streets of the Scaliger city.

Eleven Performance Spots in the Heart of Verona

The performances take place in eleven locations distributed throughout the historic center: Piazza Bra, Porta Borsari, Via Mazzini, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Porta Leoni, Piazza San Nicolò, and various historic courtyards. The public strolls from one stage to another, allowing themselves to be surprised by the genres and stories of the musicians.

Fundraising for Those Who Care

More than just a concert, Medical Buskers is a major solidarity initiative: the funds raised support Emergency and Doctors Without Borders, organizations committed to healthcare in crisis areas. The event carries forward the values of care, peace, and human rights, carrying on the legacy of figures like Gino Strada.
