Marzamemi Blue Fish and Tonnara Tuna Festival

The 11th edition of the Blue Fish and Tonnara Tuna Festival was held in Marzamemi from June 29 to July 2, 2025, confirming itself as one of the most anticipated events of the Sicilian summer.

The program featured show cooking, tastings, talks, photo exhibitions, seminars, live music, and performances spread between the Loggia della Tonnara, Piazza Regina Margherita, the courtyard of the Palazzo dei Principi di Villadorata, and Largo Balata. The Tuna Cutting Ceremony took place on July 1 and 2, curated by Angelo Cappuccio with chef Giovanni Fichera, followed by tastings of red tuna and Sicilian wines.

Among the featured chefs were Accursio Capraro, Bianca Celano, Lina Campisi, Giovanni Fichera, Massimo Giaquinta, Vincenzo Forte, Tancredi Parentignoti, Claudio Ruta, Gaetano Scarcella, and Maurizio Urso, with food blogger Barbara Conti directing talks and culinary demonstrations. The evenings were animated by the Baciami Piccina Band, Camera a Sud, and the theatrical performance Archinue. Admission was free.
