From April 16 to July 31, 2026, the spaces of 21Art Treviso, in Villorba (province of Treviso), will host "Mario Ceroli: l'ultima Utopia. Ceneri e germogli, cronache dal Presente", curated by Cesare Biasini Selvaggi. A major installation by the master, a historical figure of Arte Povera, which transforms the rooms into an immersive journey through memory, destruction, and rebirth. Free admission.

Ceroli in Villorba

The 21Art Treviso venue, on viale della Repubblica in Villorba (province of Treviso), hosts the major exhibition "Mario Ceroli: l'ultima Utopia. Ceneri e germogli, cronache dal Presente", curated by Cesare Biasini Selvaggi. An exhibition project dedicated to one of the protagonists of Italian art in the second half of the twentieth century.

A total installation

The exhibition is configured as a total installation, capable of enveloping the visitor in an immersive journey. The title – "Ceneri e germogli" (Ashes and sprouts) – speaks of a tension between destruction and rebirth, between the end of a utopia and the sprouting of new possibilities, in dialogue with the present.

Contemporary art with free admission

With this exhibition, one of 21Art's three major exhibition proposals for Spring 2026, the Villorba space reaffirms its role in the contemporary art scene, bringing a nationally significant master to the Treviso area with free public access.
