The Music of Manzoni High School
The Musical Evenings are the concert series of the State Musical High School A. Manzoni in Varese, located at Via Morselli 10. Now in its fourth edition, the series offers five free concerts spread between February and April, designed as an opportunity for interaction between the school and the city.
A Program Between Chamber and Ancient Repertoire
The concerts range from chamber music to Baroque and ancient repertoire, with ensembles featuring teachers, students, and guest musicians. Among the events for the 2026 edition are evenings dedicated to the saxophone and clarinet, piano four-hands, repertoire for countertenor, Baroque trumpet, and organ, and a saxophone ensemble.
Culture and Solidarity
Admission is free, with mandatory reservation for organizational reasons. The series also has a charitable purpose: fundraising is dedicated to Tincontro, the association that supports fragile newborns and their families at the Neonatology department of the Del Ponte Hospital in Varese. Culture and solidarity thus intertwine in a single project.

The 2026 edition offers five free concerts between February and April, with repertoires ranging from chamber music to Baroque. The series is organized by the Manzoni Musical High School of Varese, and admission is free with mandatory reservation; fundraising is dedicated to the Tincontro association, supporting the Neonatology department of the Del Ponte Hospital.

- Friday, April 10 - Church of S. Vittore in Casbeno: Massimiliano Broglia (countertenor), Matteo Villa (Baroque trumpet), Alessandra Chiarillo (organ).
- Friday, April 24 - Licei Manzoni: SaxMeet Ensemble and Simeon Bekchiev (piano).
