Street food from all over Italy on the banks of the Piave
The Mangia Street Food Festival is one of the most beloved gastronomic events in San Donà di Piave, in the province of Venice. For about ten years, it has transformed the evocative Piave floodplain area into a large outdoor food village, where food trucks from all over Italy offer regional specialties, gourmet sandwiches, fried foods, desserts, and international recipes.
The offerings range from the most traditional recipes to more innovative proposals, with attention also paid to those with special needs: gluten-free and vegetarian options are available. There's also craft beer, perfect for accompanying street food dishes.
Every evening, the atmosphere comes alive thanks to live music and entertainment, with a program that changes daily. For families, the heart of the festival is the Family Village, with a circus school, bubble and balloon shows, and traditional wooden games.
Organized with the support of the Municipality of San Donà di Piave, the festival has become a spring classic in eastern Veneto, attracting visitors from all over the province and nearby towns like Jesolo and Caorle.
The 2026 edition, the tenth, took place from Friday, April 17th to Sunday, April 19th on the Piave floodplain area. Three days of street food with offerings ranging from tradition to the most innovative recipes, gluten-free and vegetarian options, and a rich program of evening music and entertainment.
The published schedules indicated opening on Friday from the afternoon until late evening, and on Saturday and Sunday all day.
San Donà di Piave is served by the train station on the Venice-Trieste line and by the A4 motorway exit. The Piave floodplain area is located a few minutes from the center.
Access to the festival is free; you only pay for what you consume at the food trucks.
