Maggio Morazzonese

A tradition reborn

Maggio Morazzonese is a cultural event in Morazzone (Province of Varese) that recaptures the spirit of an initiative born in the eighties. Promoted by the association Laboratorio Futuro, it offers a series of open-air evenings at Parco Cooperativa Il Mondo, on Via Goffredo Mameli, with the aim of providing accessible culture and promoting local young talent.

Music, theatre, and storytelling

The program is intentionally diverse, covering various genres: from vocal and choral music to rhythm & blues, from theatre to traditional jazz, and musical storytelling. Each evening is dedicated to a different performance, in a lineup that alternates local ensembles, choirs, bands, and storytelling theatre moments, designed for a broad and family audience.

Culture for all

Free admission is one of the event's distinctive features, consistent with its mission to bring culture closer to people. In case of rain, the events will be moved to the Oratory of Morazzone. With its simple yet high-quality format, Maggio Morazzonese has carved out a place in the Varesotto spring calendar, confirming that even small towns can offer vibrant and engaging cultural events.
