The Theater of Portogruaro
The Luigi Russolo Municipal Theater, in the historic center of Portogruaro (Province of Venice), is named after the Portogruaro-born Futurist musician and painter Luigi Russolo, inventor of the "art of noises." Every year, from autumn to spring, it hosts a highly anticipated theater season, a point of reference for audiences in the Eastern Veneto.
A Quality Program
The season offers a range of performances from plays to comedy, from dance to musicals, featuring leading Italian theater and television actors. Alongside the evening program, a rich offering is dedicated to children, teenagers, and schools, with series such as Theater School, Youngsters, and First Steps in Theater.
Organized with Arteven
The season is organized by the Municipality of Portogruaro in collaboration with Arteven, the Multidisciplinary Circuit of Veneto, which guarantees a high-level program and inclusion in the regional theater network.

Russolo Theater Season — edition 2026
The 2025/2026 edition of the Theater Season at the Russolo Theater in Portogruaro, organized by the Municipality with Arteven, offers an evening program of 10 shows (9:00 PM) including plays, comedy, dance, and musicals, alongside a rich program for children and teenagers.
The months of 2026 will feature some of the most beloved names in Italian theater and television, in a high-level lineup that confirms the Russolo as a cultural benchmark in the Eastern Veneto.

- January 6-7 — "A Christmas Carol" with Roberto Ciufoli (musical)
- January 30 — "Indovina chi viene a cena" with Cesare Bocci and Vittoria Belvedere, directed by Mario Scaletta
- February 13 — "Anfitrione" by Plautus, with Emilio Solfrizzi
- February 25 — "Titoli di testa", stand-up comedy with Francesca Reggiani
- March 4 — "Contrazioni pericolose" with RocÃo Muñoz Morales, Giorgio Lupano, and Gabriele Pignotta
- March 27 — "Opera Locos" by the Spanish company Yllana (Max Award 2019)
- April 15 — "November" with Luca Barbareschi
Alongside the evening program, series for children and teenagers (Theater School, Youngsters, First Steps in Theater) with Sunday shows.

Portogruaro is reachable by train (Portogruaro-Caorle station) and by car via the A4 highway, Portogruaro exit. The Luigi Russolo Municipal Theater is located in the historic center, on Via Seminario.
