Opera in Gussago
The LIRICArte Concerts are the musical offering of the LIRICArte Lyric Cultural Association, active in Gussago, a town in Franciacorta in the province of Brescia, since 2003. With the patronage of the Municipality, the association organizes a series of opera concerts throughout the year in the Sala Civica C. Togni, bringing opera out of the theaters and into the cultural life of the town.
Four Seasons in Opera
The core of the activity is the review "Four Seasons in Opera", which marks the year with events dedicated to the great composers and the most famous arias of the operatic repertoire. At each concert, sopranos, tenors, baritones, and basses alternate, accompanied at the piano, while a narrator introduces the works and composers on the program, to engage even the less experienced audience.
A Free and Open Offering
LIRICArte concerts are free admission and represent a precious opportunity to hear great opera music live in an intimate and welcoming setting. The association involves local performers and internationally renowned guests, contributing to keeping the passion for opera alive in Gussago and spreading musical culture among different generations.
LIRICArte Concerts — edition 2026
The 2026 season of LIRICArte Concerts in Gussago offers several events at the Sala Civica C. Togni, all with free admission. The "Four Seasons in Opera" review begins with Late Winter (Sunday, March 1st, 4:30 PM) and continues with Spring (Sunday, April 19th, 6:00 PM, featuring sopranos Daniela Peruta, Liviana Scaduto, Nadia Veneziani, and bass Alberto Corna). For Women's Day, the concert In-Canto d'amore is staged on March 22nd. The season culminates on Sunday, May 17th (5:30 PM) with the concert for the association's 23rd anniversary.
