Le Baruffe in Calle is the travelling theatre performance in Chioggia inspired by Le Baruffe Chiozzotte, the famous comedy that Carlo Goldoni set in the lagoon city itself. The performance brings the comedy back to the places that inspired it, transforming the alleyways, canalsides, and small squares of the historic centre into a grand open-air stage.

The travelling format is at the heart of the event: the audience follows the performers along a route that starts from the Isola di San Domenico and winds through the urban fabric of Chioggia. Bringing the performance to life are the Piccolo Teatro Città di Chioggia (actors), the 'G. Zarlino' Ensemble (musicians), and the Chòrea Group (dancers), in a production by the regional circuit Arteven.

The XXVIII edition of Le Baruffe in Calle returns in August 2026 (from August 1 to 5) in Chioggia. The travelling performance, inspired by Goldoni's Le Baruffe Chiozzotte, winds through the alleyways, canalsides, and small squares of the historic centre, starting at 8:30 PM from the Isola di San Domenico.
On stage: the Piccolo Teatro Città di Chioggia, the musicians of the 'G. Zarlino' Ensemble, and the dancers of the Chòrea Group, for a production by the regional circuit Arteven, directed by Pierluca Donin.
