Jazz on the shores of Lake Iseo

Lago d'Iseo Jazz is one of the most established Italian jazz festivals: for over thirty years, it has brought great improvised music to both shores of Lake Iseo, involving the municipalities of Iseo, Predore, and Palazzolo sull'Oglio, in the province of Brescia. It's a travelling festival that carefully selects its stages, all set within evocative natural surroundings: from the parvis of the Pieve di Sant'Andrea in Iseo to the auditorium housed in the church of San Giovanni Battista in Predore.

The Palazzolo stop

In Palazzolo sull'Oglio, the festival chooses the Parco delle Tre Ville, a green area of great natural appeal overlooking the Oglio River, which serves as the backdrop for the evening concerts. Here, jazz dialogues with the river landscape in one of the most anticipated evenings of the festival, often reserved for special projects and premiere performances.

Big names and new generations

The Lago d'Iseo Jazz programme alternates established masters of the Italian scene with young emerging talents, with a particular focus on original projects and reinterpretations of the great repertoire. All concerts are free admission, in line with the festival's philosophy of bringing jazz music to the widest possible audience. The festival also benefits from the collaboration of Rai Radio Tre, a long-standing media partner that broadcasts an anthology of the performances.
