Edition 2025 — La Trota e il Verdicchio
Even in its previous editions, La Trota e il Verdicchio has been one of the events that reignites the trout season in Sefro, in the Province of Macerata. The contest, promoted as part of the activities of Tipicità and GALPA Marche, invited chefs, enthusiasts, and taste creatives to propose original recipes capable of highlighting trout and Verdicchio.
The formula, confirmed year after year, includes an online voting phase open to the network's public and a live finale, with a jury tasked with awarding prizes for technique, originality, and the ability to tell the story of the Marche region through the dish. A format that intertwines cuisine, local identity, and the promotion of freshwater fish farming, in a village where trout has always been the star.
