La Stortellata in Selvena

The 2025 edition of La Stortellata confirmed the appointment with the Selvignano potato tortello, the pride of the culinary tradition of Selvena, a village in the municipality of Castell'Azzara in the province of Grosseto. The filling, prepared with white Faggeto potatoes grown by the local Pro Loco, brought to the table an indigenous product recovered and promoted by the community.

As per tradition, the festival combined good food with conviviality, with food stands and musical moments that enlivened the village. An opportunity to discover the authentic flavors of Mount Amiata and the hospitality of a small community in the inland Maremma.
